Said this in jest earlier this season but::

Sandro . Keane
Walcott ., Iwobi ., Bolasi
Klasson ., ., ., Gomez. Delph
Williams . Mina . Kean

Sandro and Keane not proven scorers in PL. Walcott and Iwobi both inconsistent and lack goals. Williams one good tournament like Mina.

Why not go out and buy proven PL players who can change our team. Zaha, tarkowski, Mee, Wilson, king for example - all players who we could attract instead of going for players other teams are wanting rid of.

Now we are stuck with these players who will be on big money and long contracts. Seriously took us ages to get shot of mirallas and bollasi - now lumbered with Walcott and Iwobi - if they were any good Arsenal would have kept them

Same mistakes time after time.

Zaha is class, tarkowski is as bad as keane on his day. Mee is quality but wilson and king only score goals in a team that plays the old 442 put them in our 4321 and theyd struggle, not to mention very injury prone.
Delph is a squad filler so no problem there, Gomes is one of the best midfielders we've had for some years. Kean is young and needs time, and I dread to think where we would be this season without Mina, he has been our player of the season so far.
The rest are walsh and Allardyce signings.

Don't write them all of just yet Sobs it's still early days for some of them.

So play the system that fits the team not just because it fits the messiah coaches' proven failure of a philosophy. I tell you what we have to win Saturday anything less even a draw is continued failure.

22 Nov 2019 08:34:12
''anything less even a draw is continued failure. ''

I'm with you on this BCT 100% mate. no more slack for Marco he has not proven the most important thing to me and that is 'making progress' that is >inexcusable.

22 Nov 2019 12:41:19
Why not wait to see what happens on Saturday.
Not sure why everyone starts moaning before a ball is even kicked.
We’ve had 2 weeks without football we should be looking forward to seeing if we continue we’re we left off prior to the international break and supporting the team not whinging and complaining - save that if needs be after the match but get behind the team first!

22 Nov 2019 13:16:26
Gingerdan a ball has been kicked mate it's the 22nd Nov.

22 Nov 2019 13:43:55
and its been kicked better than it was most of last season.

22 Nov 2019 13:58:50
22nd Nov, GingerDan very close to Christmas with a hard run of games to come. All I have said is the Norwich game has to be a win, nothing less. 3 windows over 200 mill spent and still there are those saying this is not Silvas Team, he needs time.

22 Nov 2019 14:12:14
We currently sit 3 points off 5th place.
We’ve not played as well as we probably should have but it’s nit as bad as everyone making out or is it?

22 Nov 2019 14:14:57
BCT, There are some fans who think 'Marco' is heaven sent and others that regard him as an interloper, some think a victory over Saints was an achievement close to reaching the top of mount everest, while others regard it beating a team in free fall.
Some think all this as tantamount to booing at the match, while others regard it as way of chatting about football .

🤷‍♂️.

22 Nov 2019 14:23:53
What happens if it goes in reverse, teams we expected to beat we have dropped points against, so who’s to say we will not pick up points against teams we do not expect to beat, you just never know in football.

People are saying Norwich is a must win game, lose that and no chance in the following five fixtures according to some.

Has it not registered yet, this is Everton, expect the unexpected, nothing but nothing would suprise me, if we pick up a couple of results in the tough December fixtures.

That’s Everton for you, never know what you are going to get.

22 Nov 2019 15:03:55
Good Post that BigNev, ''>if.

22 Nov 2019 15:07:48
just to continue BigNev, If we give Norwich a'what for' moment tomorrow you know a good old seeing to like, it just might happen mate 🙂.

22 Nov 2019 15:31:35
Guys the season is long, things haven't panned out as we expected but we are 3 points off 5th with plenty of games still to play, and still in both cups.
Not exactly time to push the panic button just yet.
Plenty on here were happy to finish 8th and play rubbish football under Allardyce but aren't happy with finishing higher and playing marginally better football under Marco.

22 Nov 2019 16:52:16
And Bignev mate I for one would love it.

22 Nov 2019 16:53:11
We didn't finish higher though did we.

22 Nov 2019 17:49:52
Bct we will finish higher than 8th this season.

22 Nov 2019 18:02:18
And to answer you blue247, I love marco and have a photo of him on my wall, and if you remove the darts you can see his infectious smile.

22 Nov 2019 18:30:25
Lol love it Smitty lad 🤣.

22 Nov 2019 22:45:23
If you cast your minds back to the tail end of last season, after the 0-0 with Liverpool were we expecting the win over Chelsea? Or the win over Arsenal? Or then the 4-0 thumping of United? Or to go to Spurs and get the draw?
There was calls for his head to roll back then but we did alright, let’s see if he can get the team to do something similar
Over to you Mr Silva don’t let us down!
