If koeman goes Marco silva is the man for me going to be a big manager in the fur tire. 👌🏼.

Interesting results today Watford beating Arsenal and CP beating Chelsea .
We play Arsenal next week and Chelsea week after so we want at least the same hard work and endeavor they showed when we play them .
First it's BHA tommo
Will we show that spirit 2 mo and run ourselves ragged for the Blue shirt somehow I doubt it!

Wouldn't hold your breath mate, Palace played Zaha who is a winger with pace, we don't play them type of players, even though we have a few of them!

I'm no fan of RK but a bit of optimism here - if we and Newcastle win tomorrow, we'll be in the top half of the table.

Yeah a win tomorrow puts us 3pts behind arsenal Chelsea and you know who, as bad as we've been that seems mental, clutching at straws I know for the optimism but come on lads get it together and string some results together. pretty please.

Blimey Ed just watched S S N and all of the planet absolutely slated R. K and his tactics, I was really chuffed when he took the job but I reckon if we get a bad result against Brighton he will be shown the door, can't be allowed to continue.

{Ed025's Note - tomorrow is pivotal GB, a loss would make his position untenable i believe mate..

I think if he doesn't win at least 3 of the next 3 games then it's curtains. Tomorrow is literally a must win, Lose the Europa league game and I think that'll be it for us in Europe so again I think that's a pivotal game too.

{Ed025's Note - harsh jcl...but probably true mate..

14 Oct 2017 18:50:43
Ed your right it is harsh, and I'm generally not a knee jerk chap, but the flannel he came out with yesterday really was the last straw for me. he keeps saying that he's responsible and in the next breath blames someone or something else. Like every evertonian I am now fed up of 30yrs of mediocre football ( bar the odd season here and there) . This man has been backed significantly by the board. this yrs recruits + lookman, bolasie, Schneiderlin + Williams. put the net spend aside it must be ÂŁ150-ÂŁ180m. and regardless of him having a striker or not he has had more backing than any Everton manager I can remember. yet the team looks a shambles. he has alienated players, is ignoring players (lookman and mirrallas and Kenny) and is playing many in bizarre positions. I can't think of anything positive about him right now. I would love to be slated on here tomorrow due to an Everton master class, and forced to eat humble pie because of my opinions.

{Ed025's Note - so would i jcl, i just cant see it though mate..

14 Oct 2017 19:00:24
Ed, I just want the team to do well, I wanna feel like I did in the 80s. I go every week and I am normally always optimistic about the team, I never boo opposition never mind my own team - regardless of how poor we are, but this year is testing my patience - the biggest anti climax. I'll be listening tomorrow and hoping I've called it wrong. I only hope that Tom Davies and/ or Rooney can make the other lads understand what it means to pull on that shirt. and drag them on a winning run.

I know this is a blues site and we particularly don't like talking about them but!
What other team do you know anywhere in the world were the broadcaster zooms in to the " home end " while they sing that song.
I cannot even bare the sound on
In fact I am only watching it today to keep an eye on Lukaku!

I am usually a calm wait and give time person and believe clubs are far too rash to sack a manager these days. However, if koeman plays rooney no.10 klassen and sigurdson instead of wingers and playing sneiderlin next to geuye, i'd give the sack despite the result. holgates short range passing is better than williams who struggles with the lack of options in forward passes out from the back, so i'd play him and keane. I mean I know holgate will make mistakes but were making them anyway with experienced players. Kenny at right back, a risk yes but the safe option of martina isn't exactly safe is it. lookman vlasic and davies in the starting line up to for me. Rooney would be better if we had more pace, height arial threat and a target man to hold up. he offers none of this so doesn't help in terms of what we haven't got.

Apparantly Sigurdsson is being played in the best position and Ashley Williams is to continue to start. Maybe Koeman wants the sack so he gets a payoff and gets the Holland job wouldn’t bother me go for it I’ll pay for your plane ticket.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

14 Oct 2017 10:08:56
Sigurdsson's best position is at no: 10 but with Rooney and Klaasen also no: 10's perhaps Koeman means his best position in order to shoehorn in the rest. Our problem is that currently all the players out of form are those surplus to requirements at other Clubs but automatic choices for our first Team. Add that to Koemans choice of tactics and I just cannot see a way out of this mess (even after just 7 games) .

{Ed025's Note - i know how you feel dunc but we have to live in hope mate, this situation has to be rectified as a matter of urgency and if not then he has to be out on his ear im afraid..

Garbutt scored cracker for U23 other night, and had all round good game. Looks like the lads starting to mature into a very good attacking full back. Bainsey watch out!

Yeah don’t know what happened to him he seemed to have a bad run of things when he went out on loan. Maybe it’s because he played for crap teams but suppose that’s how you learn.

{Ed025's Note - for me baines has been as bad as anyone up to now bravo, i would have no problem with him replacing leighton mate..

14 Oct 2017 13:10:53
Yeah agreed shame tho Baines has been a good player over the years suppose every player runs out of steam at some point.
