With the greatest of respect, how can the commission, and the appeals panel, pass any test of independence, when they are hand picked by the premier League?
It like a court case, where the prosiqution, are allowed to hand pick the jury.
There is much detail to be contested, and, as such, it comes down to opinion, not fact, an interest payment on the stadium, should be allowed, it not FFP, it's financial sustainability, what could contribute more to long term sustainability than a new stadium?

The chair is picked by the judicial panel chair. The Judicial Panel is formed by the Prem League Clubs (I think) . Everton are not appealing their guilt (they admitted it) but the harshness of the penalty. Only the Commission know why they issued such. IMO It was way over the top and cannot be justified. What are they going to do when someone is 50 or 70 percent over. Incidentally I read somewhere that it was the Clubs that signed up to points punishment for transgression.
