Shame, was willing to give him a chance to see if he had exorcised his demons but that’s never going to happen now. He’ll go in the summer and I’d expect him to announce his retirement.

Whilst a terrible deal, think there was something in there that we’d have had to have paid a larger sum had he achieved 20+ appearances for us so a small silver lining in a disastrous deal as he’s not going to manage that.

Shame it didn't work out in the end. The only highlight of his EFC career was the Palace game when we ultimately stayed up. Him grabbing the ball and taking a quick throw in resulted in us scoring if I remember right? Sad it's his main contribution in a blue shirt.

Hopefully it’s changing now BR, but it dreadfully depressing that any progress we look like making is handicapped but previous years’ mismanagement.
