I was just wondering if Dan Friedkin has been to the stadium yet? Seems to be firmly stuck in the background . Is this a good or a bad thing? And would you like/ expect to see him there in the near future? Regular or just flit in and out? Just curious to everyone's thoughts on it?
{Ed025's Note - i dont think it makes much difference SN, as long as he pays the bills and keeps the club on a secure footing i dont really care myself mate, lots of owners dont go to games on a regular basis and especially if their financial empire is based in another country..

Do you think it’s a case of this is your team in place to run it day to day and I don’t have to much affliction to the cause only money? You know the saying once Everton touches you and all that ……. He’s not going to get into the closeness of it all?
{Ed025's Note - i dont suspect its all about the money SN, i would think its about the success and prestige as well which brings its own rewards mate, of course if good times come it will reflect in the value of the club as an asset so i would say its a two way street..

I think they're like this and even keep themselves under the radar at Roma.
I prefer the owner to let the people who are the experts get on with the job. Moshiri is a good example of someone who got involved in the club far too much at the beginning and caused so many issues.
Hopefully they continue in the same way they've started. I'm hoping that we are better equipped in future for the transfer window than this summer but to be fair to those at the club we took our time getting people in place who deal with transfers.
{Ed025's Note - i think very much like FSG at Liverpool TFG are building a sporting empire which will raise their profile as a company John, they seem to know what they are doing and have already raised the status of the club any yes they will want to make it a profitable union and that suits both parties i would say mate..

Could it be the long term vision that they have no influence at either club different management structure and subsidiaries company ownership so in the event that one day we qualify for Europe they won’t be in the palace situation?

Having them around less may work in our favour if we were to ever get into the same competition as Roma. Would make it easier to argue they have less controlling influence when putting their ownership of the club into a trust like other teams have done to get around it.
As long as the team improves, the football improves and we start climbing the table, they could live on Mars for all I care and leave the running of the club to those they have hired and know what they are doing. We don’t want another Moshiri.

It was not Moshiri.

Moshiri made mistakes, but he had a self interested agent in his ear, and had not Russia invaded, his money man was unexpectedly taken out of the picture, believe he would have funded the cost of the stadium, and for all his short comings he did leave us with a fabulous stadium, and a very savey new owner.
