Looks like Sean has more injuries for todays match, don't care who he picks providing they show the same fight and commitment of our last game, even Young was ok.

27 Apr 2024 13:41:54
Young was okay because that is his position (left) .

27 Apr 2024 14:28:07
And that’s where he will be this afty.

GB,

I doubt very much we will be doing much business with incomings wether be premiership or lower league based.

Be very much reliant on the loan market and freebies should imagine. Not the scenario most managers will want to walk into, that's why realistically Dyche won't be going anywhere for me.

Quick Everton Perspective. Despite playing against a team with a wage bill we are tying to emulate without the correct income and the finances to spend pretty much what they like on players, the team outplayed their wealthier counterparts nearly to a man. We pressed well and wanted to win the 50:50s more. A well deserved result against a sorry opponent who were still wounded from losing to Palace the week before.

27 Apr 2024 04:30:45
Now the dust has settled, I'm still buzzing from the result. I'm not putting this through into be negative, but I still don't think Dyche is the man to move us on and blood youngsters. Still think a change is required in the summer and SD will go with our gratitude for keeping us up I almost impossible circumstances.

Agree JB he did keep us up in the most difficult season ever, and a big thank you but time to finally change the Team, manager, and owner and start from scratch no more overpaid has been and average players time for young blood and players who want to play for the Club.

26 Apr 2024 13:42:18
Prem table looks soooooo good these days especially with our goal difference as well, so I am going going for another win tomorrow and continue our winning ways with 3 more points and certain we will remain in the Premiership,2-0 will do nicely.

You are on a roll GB so I won't argue there COYB.

26 Apr 2024 15:30:24
Yeh just hoping it's not the proverbial "after the lord mayor's show". Hope we just go out like our lives depended on it!

26 Apr 2024 20:56:32
After Pickford 1st name on the sheet will be Young. The master tactician said that he and the players have wanted to play that way all season. I looked for tongue in cheek and crossed fingers but nope he mean't it.

{Ed025's Note - that tells me all i need to know DFS..

27 Apr 2024 03:51:08
GB on a roll, ? yes he got one right now.

27 Apr 2024 07:34:00
Think it’s going to be a tough game again for sure.
If attitude remains the same and any weariness from the Derby has gone we have a chance.

A point could be good enough depending on the Luton result. COYB.

Idrissa fantastic again last night.

Godfrey needs a mention as well.

25 Apr 2024 18:16:17
Will give Godfrey for his last ditch challenges but he is never going to be a full back. Though you can't knock his workrate.
I thought Dom was immense, he totally bullied their middle two, they just couldn't handle him.

25 Apr 2024 20:02:31
Godfrey is primarily left sided we have injuries Micky cannot play right side. Godfrey is one of our better players.

25 Apr 2024 20:04:16
I think Godfrey is worth keeping, he gives his all every game. Ok he has his weaknesses, but he puts a shift in every time he plays.

25 Apr 2024 23:09:28
Agree lads. What you cannot question is his commitment. You can see the passion on his face with every win or anger whenever we lose. That’ll do me compared to the most.

Obviously he won’t displace Tark or Jared but he is better than Keane and can play across the whole backline. There is a reason the likes of Spurs are sniffing.

I rate him. He hasn’t been the same since C.V. but he is a centre half, not a wide defender.

27 Apr 2024 09:02:22
Anyone think might be better as defensive midfielder to cover across back four, and releases Garner to push forward. If we sell Onana, as can't get in team with Tarks and Branthwaite.

25 Apr 2024 14:57:16
Just watching our game from last night again for the umpteenth time and the passion in that match was something else particularly when the Branthwaite goal bubbled in DCL came steaming in to hit and make sure and second half DCL heads in after Tarks does a number on Van Dyke brilliant stuff, if only we played every game like that.

Their lies the mystery GB.

Yo Ed25 I said it last week that if we win is it one of the most important Derby wins? In terms of our Prem survival and massively dented Liverpools title hopes I think it could

{Ed025's Note - we wanted it more than them BB, it was a very good performance mate and it all but makes us safe..

I was listening on the radio before a night shift, atmosphere sounded amazing. And yes sounded like we out fought them all over the park.

25 Apr 2024 10:45:24
Great result last night players stepped up and showed that they are better than what we have seen.
Was getting worried when we sat back again (being honest I am not a fan of that) , but the second goal killed them off.
Still don't like this hoof ball as the players have shown that they can play.
Onwards to Brentford now, a win there and we should be safe. But we have to play with the same intensity now, the players have shown that they can do it.
UTFT.
